The system is a unique protective storage system for all types of mobile and aircraft equipment. It consists of four parts: cover, dehumidifier, humidity sensor and base.

Description

Cover
The cover can be provided in any size and is reusable. It offers several features:

• resistance to extreme temperature
• low moisture permeation level
• resistance to fungi or insect attacks
• resistance to a variety of chemicals and oils
• flame retardancy

The cover is manufactured from P.V.C. Urethane, (or other appropriate materials, that are adjustable to the climatic conditions under which the equipment is stored). It is sealed by a unique zip locking system welded to the material and is closed manually or with the aid of a special slider. Access to equipment is through the sealing system. Once it is opened, personnel can lift the cover at any point along its length.

The dehumidifier maintains air inside the cover at a corrosion- prevention level by absorbing and expelling excess water vapors through a regulated cycle of operations. It connects to a standard electricity supply or a small generator.

Dehumidifier Humidity sensor
Specially treated paper is visible from the outer side of the cover. It will change color if relative humidity inside the cover increases to an unsafe level. A sensing element is suspended inside the cover.
